What You Can Do
-
Volunteer your time
Help pick up, prep or distribute food at the food bank. Or become a Food Bank Farm, Small Potatoes Gleaning Project or Garden Project volunteer. - Become a Milk Money or Food4Tots sponsor
Help raise funds for our Milk Money or Food4Tots program and ensure that we will have enough milk or baby food for our food bank families. - Grow extra produce for the food bank in your garden
Many of us garden for fun yet can't always use everything we grow. Turn your pea patch into a Victory Garden by donating your surplus to our food bank. - Organize a food drive
Hunger doesn't take a holiday--our clients rely on our food bank year round. Help feed your neighbors by organizing a food drive at your school, work, church or other community organization. We can offer valuable suggestions on how to make your food drive successful. - Educate others
Help us educate our community about local hunger issues. Bellingham Food Bank staff members are available to speak with your school, business or other community group.
Contact us for more information.
- Make a cash donation
We rely on local monetary donations for the bulk of our operating funds. Your cash donation helps keep our lights on, our trucks filled with gas and our refrigerators and freezers cold. We also purchase tons of food each year at incredible discounts from wholesalers who sell only to food banks. A $100 donation will typically buy more than 1,000 pounds of food for Bellingham's hungry families. Please feel free to mail a check, drop off a donation, or you can donate now online.
Thank you for helping us feed our community's hungry.
