Supporting this project is an investment in the Food Bank's future. Our newly designed facility will meet the current and anticipated needs for the next thirty years. Improvements will allow the Food Bank to secure more donations for Bellingham's hungry, and the surrounding Food Banks we support. By leveraging significant materials, labor, and professional services donations, we will make the most and best use of public and private dollars to achieve our goal of a new facility.

We all know about the food pyramid and the need for a healthy diet. The Bellingham Food Bank provides hungry families with a diverse array of perishable and non-perishable food so our clients can have a nutritious and balanced diet. We work to make sure our hungry neighbors can have a complete pyramid, one that isn't missing any bricks. This construction effort is actually a lot like building a balanced diet. We need donors from each "food group" to complete our fundraising efforts.
