Food Bank Farm
Farm-fresh food for Bellingham’s hungry.
Bellingham Food Bank is thrilled to operate a three-acre farm that grows vegetables exclusively for food bank families. Before the farm began operating, fresh, local produce was in high demand and low supply. Now our Food Bank Farm produces ten tons of vegetables each year.
This year, more and more people are turning to our food bank to help feed their families. The demand for fresh food grown on our farm is needed more than ever.
The Food Bank Farm operates on donated land and is managed by a part-time farmer. Volunteers donate their time for almost all of the farm labor. Volunteering on our farm is a great way to get outside, learn to grow your own food and to help end hunger in Bellingham. Volunteer shifts are available most days of the week.
