Satellite Food Banks

We are working hard to increase our accessibility to hungry Bellingham families. When we heard about hungry kids on the north side of town, and the barriers their families face in getting to our Ellis Street location, we put our food bank on wheels. Thanks to support from Whatcom Community Foundation, we distribute food weekly at Christ the King Community Church and Alderwood Elementary School. Same great food, just at different locations.

Each week we load up our trucks and bring great food to our two partner locations. Anyone living in Bellingham can visit these satellite food banks and get the same food others access downtown. Our goal is to make sure families in all parts of our community have access to the food they need, because we believe hunger is unacceptable.

At Bellingham Food Bank

Nearly 20% of Bellingham’s residents regularly visit our food bank. Hard to believe, but it’s true. Check out how we feed our neighbors and learn how you can join the fight. Nobody should be hungry in Bellingham.
