Volunteer

Thanks for your interest in volunteering!

Volunteers are critical to the work of Bellingham Food Bank. Each week, more than 150 community members contribute their time and energy to our programs. We couldn’t do our work without this support!

To get started volunteering:

  1. Determine whether your availability aligns with the volunteer shifts that we offer, below.
  2. Decide whether there is at least one volunteer activity that sounds fun, interesting, and within your capacity!
  3. If your schedule aligns with at least one of our shifts, and if at least one activity sounds interesting to you, submit a volunteer interest form at the bottom of this page.

After you’ve submitted your volunteer interest form, we will reply within 1 week and invite you to attend a 1-hour VIRTUAL volunteer orientation. During this talk, you’ll learn more details about Bellingham Food Bank’s philosophy of service, volunteer roles and expectations, and scheduling details!

Do you have school or court-mandated service hours?
