Home Delivery

Bellingham Food Bank is excited to offer home delivery to residents of Whatcom County who are unable to come to our walk-in or drive-through services, and do not have someone who can shop on their behalf.

Home Delivery

Volunteers pack boxes with dry goods, fresh produce, dairy, and meat and deliver them to Whatcom county residents once per week. At the moment we cannot offer custom packed boxes, but we plan to in the future!

Delivery Schedule

Fridays between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.

How to qualify

BFB’s Home Delivery program is resource intensive and our capacity is limited. Our goal is to serve community members who cannot come to our Ellis Street service or drive through service.  Some examples of eligibility include:

  • Physical or mental disabilities
  • Lack of transportation
  • Scheduling conflicts (unable to access other BFB services due to other obligations)
  • Long or short term illness
  • Household income less than TEFAP guidelines

A doctor’s note or referral is not required but we ask that you do not sign up for deliveries if you are able to access our other services. If at some point you no longer need this service, please cancel your box deliveries so that we can serve others by emailing homedelivery@bellinghamfoodbank.org.

CHORE Program

Prior to signing up for Bellingham Food Bank’s Home delivery service, please determine whether you might be eligible to participate in the Chore Program by clicking here. If you are eligible and interested in receiving the many additional services that the Chore Program offers, we encourage you to contact 360-734-3055 extension 0.
